Don Nina

A teenage Nina and her drag queen parents arrived in Step City circa 83'. She spent her teenage years living in the orange district, that is she would have if she wasn't spending her days at the pool and her nights sneaking into parties.

-started to sneak into FM parties
-became an IT girl
-got sponsored into FM
-started working jobs for FM
-got enough creds and rep to create the Aqualux club and restaurant
-Became a FM Boss
-Took over from Bonita and became the Don of FM

Nina prides herself with keeping herself healthy and youthful looking. Her tanned olive skin is well hydrated and naturally dewy from the combination of excellent skincare, diet, exercise and having a water vibe helps.

Her hair is dyed red and very glossy. Occasionally that will change to shades of purple or teal depending on the season. She tends to lean towards vintage hair styles with a modern twist.

Nina has three tattoos, an Octopus on her right arm, a wave on her left arm and a heart on her upper right thigh

Her body is mostly natural, a bit of filler here and there doesn't hurt right? If she didn’t have the breast augmentations she would be pear shaped.

Her vibe makes her eyes appear blue. Her natural eye colour is grey

Nina likes sheer/see through clothing, is not afraid to show off skin and always ready to jump into the pool.

Don Nina is a flirt, a real little charmer. Cracking tits- I mean smile and the bluest of eyes. she might carry herself as a real lady in refined company but get a lot of drink down her or see her behind doors and this lady is a tramp. She’ll decorate her sentences with the word “fuck” a lot and drops nearly all the letters. She likes using old timey slang with new stuff, often makes her own portmanteaus. Remix the old and the new.

Don Nina is focused on the future- despite her party-girl origins, her business savvy and shrewd people skills have led to nearly a decade of Mafia prosperity and power.

Nina wanted to be FM early on because she believed that control and protocol was needed to keep stable. She never wanted to experience another mass collapse and near starvation situation that happened during the rebellion.

She ultimately wanted UG to slowly be absorbed into Funk Mafia Values, or at least her interpretation of those values. A slow, hearts and minds way, since in her opinion an all out war would be far too many bodies. That loss of talent and key skills could just accelerate their own destruction. Forcing the city to run like a skeleton crew.

Nina didn't allow mass territory grabs while Steven was gone for that reason. She allowed only the HUB to be taken since its resources are worth the upset.

Nina runs things like a mayor office or a council rather than a Mafia chain of command. Nina is very much thinking of the long road. Focusing a lot on the dance schools, what's being taught, the next generations of steppers.

Nina's time in power has been a delicate balancing act of FM steppers Egos. The most powerful or notable FM steppers get invited to be part of Nina's Circle or Council. This "council" of people she has to listen to and keep in check has grown in size after her years of being The Don. While the intention was to inspire loyalty and keep people with her best interests close, it unfortunately has only bred more discontentment and in-fighting.

Hide Miyagawa promotion to Boss was purely because The Council thought he was what Funk Mafia Needed. Nina wasn't really aware of him at all before his promotion and hasn't been impressed by his behaviour since then.

Nina has a water vibe, she can control liquids. While she can't just make water appear out of nowhere she can just feel where it is, sorta like a sixth sense. The closest she can get to "summoning" water is to use a lot vibe to drain moisture from the air and merge into a ball. Her favourite thing to do is pour a drink out without moving the bottle. While she can control it with her mind she likes wiggling a finger/making gestures to move liquids. To create the illusion that she can breathe underwater she makes gaps/bubbles in the water to breathe.

Her Dance style is taking the old and give it a kick. She loves vintage/retro stuff and giving it a bit of a modern twist. Her favourite genre is electro-swing and basically vintage/electro. the love of electro might have been influenced by her UG side upbringing. She knows swing styles, (adores the crazy upbeat lindy hop stuff). mixing some more modern dance moves into the mix. She can also ‘dance’ underwater, think synchronised swimming meets burlesque.
